The AIR1800 has an easy one-touch looper threading that uses a blast of air for threading. With threading ports that are connected to the end of each looper by tubes, at the press of a button, the air sends the thread through the looper, so it’s a breeze to change threads.
Outstanding Stitch Quality
Achieve outstanding finishing touches with flatlock, overlock, and rolled hem stitches on specialty fabrics and stretchy materials.
4-Thread Overlock
The 4-thread overlock is one of the most commonly used stitches on a serger; it is the strongest of the construction stitches. Both loopers and two needles are used to complete the stitch, making it wider and sturdy because of the two needle stitches.

Which Machine Should You Buy?
Serger vs. Sewing Machine
If you are debating on which machine to purchase, there are advantages to each machine. Serger is a specialized machine that trims the fabric as it sews, creating a clean and professional finish. It uses multiple threads to create a strong and stretchy seam, making it ideal for sewing knit fabrics, activewear, and lingerie. In comparison, a sewing machine is more versatile and can handle various projects, fabrics, and everyday seam-constructing projects, like piecing together shirts, sleeves, pants, and quilting projects. Both machines have unique advantages and uses, and many sewists find that owning a serger and a sewing machine is beneficial for achieving professional results.
