The ST371HD is the perfect machine for everyday sewing and mending on everything from durable outdoor fabrics to lightweight elegant silks. Including a metal needle plate for smoother fabric feeding, and heavyweight needles, the ST371HD can handle layers of heavier fabrics. Also included are 37 utility and decorative stitches for blind hems, stretch stitches, buttonholes, zipper insertion, and more. The ST371HD comes complete with 6 sewing feet, including a spring action zigzag foot, nonstick, blind stitch, zipper, buttonhole, and button sewing feet, Plus, the drop feed feature allows you to do free-motion sewing. The built-in handle allows the machine to easily go from sewing table to storage, when not in use. This machine also has a built-in easy needle threader, jam-resistant Quick-Set™ drop-in top bobbin, automatic bobbin winding system, and a free arm for sewing cuffs and sleeves. Included are an instructional DVD to help you get started, and an English and Spanish user manual.

Selecting your stitch is as easy as turning the dial.

Included are 37 built-in stitches for everyday sewing, such as blind hem, stretch, zigzag and decorative stitches.

Easily create buttonholes with the 1-step buttonhole feature and the included buttonhole foot. Plus, you can attach buttons to your project with the included button sewing foot.
4. Easy needle threading
Touch the lever on the machine, and it takes care of threading the needle for you.
5. Free arm for cuffs and sleeves
The free arm makes it easier to sew smaller cylindrical items like cuffs, sleeves and pant legs.
6. Super easy bobbin winding
The Brother built-in bobbin winding system ensures that your bobbin is wound evenly. This is important for smooth delivery of the bobbin thread while sewing.
7. Upper thread tension control dial
This dial helps ensure your stitches are smooth, rather than puckered or loose. Simply turn the dial to the right to increase tension, and to the left to decrease. For most sewing, you’ll keep the same settings, but can easily increase the tension if needed for denim, and decrease for lighter weight fabrics.
8. Reverse sewing lever
Back stitching is easy with the on-board reverse sewing lever. This allows you to secure the stitches at the beginning and end of a seam.
