Thread Tension Scale

The thread tension scale allows you to adjust the tension according to the weight of your thread and the type of fabric being used. This helps to create a more balanced tension. Stitch length, which works in tandem with the thread tension, can easily be changed with the large dial on the front of the machine.

LED Light

LED lighting allows you to sew or quilt for hours on end without the eye strain that's associated with traditional bulbs. This illuminates your project without putting off unsafe heat and lasts substantially longer than traditional sewing machine bulbs.

Even Feed Foot

The Juki TL-15 comes standard with an even feed foot at no extra cost. Also known as a walking foot, it works wonders when sewing multiple layers of fabric. The top teeth sandwich the layers of fabric with the feed dogs, ensuring reliable and beautiful seams.

Heavyweight Materials

Juki's TL-15 easily sews through thick materials such as denim, vinyl, and leather. A special speed control mechanism allows the machine to sew at low speeds. This provides an accurate feed and perfect stitching when sewing heavyweight fabrics, quilts, or multiple layers of materials.

Speed Control Dial

The Speed Control Dial is handy with detailed quilting, like feathering and stippling, or any time a fixed speed is required for your sewing techniques. The speed control can be slowed down to 200 stitches per minute or maxed out at 1500 stitches per minute.

Presser Foot Pressure Adjustment

This is a must-have feature for those serious about creating the perfect stitch. This regulator is located on the top of the machine and allows you to adjust the force exerted on your fabric by the presser foot, which improves how your fabric is fed through your machine.

Needle Up/Down Control

An essential feature for quilters, the needle automatically stops in the down position, preventing your fabric from shifting out of place when pivoting. To move the needle up or down as desired, simply press the needle up/down button. When the button is pressed continuously, the machine sews stitch by stitch at low speed.

Easy Bobbin replacement with sliding plate

The TL-15 features a new bobbin case latch and an enlarged bobbin case area, making it easier to remove and replace the side-loading bobbin. This feature allows the user to access the bobbin even with the auxiliary table in place.

Automatic Needle Threader

Thread your machine in seconds with the push lever automatic needle threader. This key feature takes out the guesswork, near-misses, and frustration! You can thread your machine in seconds–meaning you can start your projects faster and put less strain on your eyes!

Sub Tension Unit

The improved thread tension system intelligently avoids the return of twisted threads, even when strongly twisted threads are used. This sub-unit gives you a more stable stitch tension and eliminates "thread quivering."

Drop Feed Dogs

No need to install a special darning plate to do free motion quilting. The Juki TL-15 has a built-in lever that, when pressed, automatically lowers the feed dogs so you can quickly switch to free-motion quilting or sewing curved stitches.

Knee Lift Lever

This is an essential feature for efficient quilting. Knee lifters allow you to keep both hands on your quilt while using your knee to lift the presser foot; you'll never go back to quilting without one again! With the included knee lifter, the presser foot can be raised as high as 12mm so that light to heavyweight materials easily move in and out of the sewing area.
